Fall is upon us and who doesn't love getting cozy with a good book? Me. I don't love it. I'm only half joking. I do love it, I just don't seem to have the time for it. I am in my car a lot, so I do love a good audiobook! I also like to set a side 10 minutes at night to read before bed, it's not much but it gets the job done.
I have really enjoyed getting into reading more this year. That being said, I want to share with you some of my favorite books. Each week during the month of October, I will share one book that helped me grow spiritually and one book that I just found to be a great read!
ENJOY!!
A book that helped me grow spiritually.
"Gentle and Lowly" by Dane Ortlund
This book snuck me in to the deepest parts of Jesus' heart. Revealing his deep love, gentle spirit, and humble attitude. At his roots, Jesus' is Gentle and Lowly and we are called to be the same.
A book that was way better than the movie.
"The Girl Who Came Home" by Hazel Gaynor
This book is a historical fiction based on true events about the titanic and let me just say, it gives Jack and Rose a run for their money. If you enjoyed the movie, you are going to fall in love with this book.
Take the poll below, and be entered to win one of the books I feature this month at the end of the month!

We just finished Gentle and Lowly as our church book club book. It’s a yearly read for me as I need the reminder of who Jesus is at the heart of it.
